You will receive an email notification when an application for a unit has been submitted.
To review applicants, follow these steps from the Renter Screening page:
- Filter your applications by Portfolio, Status, or by Application Dates
- Pro Tip: filtering by application dates offers you the ability to review applications by timestamps for invited, completed, or updated applications. This ensures you are reviewing applications in the order they were received.
- Once filtered, you will see all relevant applicants in a summary card.
- To access the complete details of the application, including the background check (if requested), click anywhere on the applicant's summary card.
To review applicants from the individual unit page, follow these steps:
- Go to the corresponding property and unit.
- Click on the "Applicants" tab to see all applicants for that unit.
- Each application will appear as a summary card.
- To access the complete details of an application, including the background check (if requested and purchased by the applicant), click "View Applicant" on the summary card.
Clicking on the summary card will take you to the Applicant details page, where you will see a date and timestamp of each step completed under “Application Progress”.
If you decide to approve or reject your applicant, you can initiate the process by selecting “Decline” or "Offer Unit" to begin configuring their payment terms, or decline their application.
- Pro Tip: We now offer the ability to send an Adverse Action Notice to your applicant! Click here for more information.
If, upon review, you find that you require additional information from your applicant, you have the option to “Mark as incomplete,” set the date and time, and indicate your required additional information. Our system will update the timestamp to show when the application was marked incomplete for tracking purposes.
Once you have received additional information, you can mark the application complete, set the time and date of completion, and the application will update, you can decide to approve or reject your applicant.
