Once you've successfully linked a bank account to Azibo, you're one step closer to initiating rent collection through our platform.
The next essential step is to verify your account by undergoing ID verification. At Azibo, prioritizing security and safety is paramount, which is why every landlord is required to verify their identity before conducting transactions on our platform.
If you did not complete your ID verification when linking your bank account, you'll notice a banner displayed at the top of your screen on your Bank Accounts section, and your Settings section.
To begin the verification process, simply click on "Verify now"
Clicking on 'Verify now' will initiate the Stripe ID verification procedure. You have the option to complete this process either on a mobile device, or using a webcam.
Here is a list of government-issued IDs that you can utilize for the verification process:
- Drivers license
- State identification card
- U.S. passport or passport card
- Permanent resident card
This information is only visible to the Azibo Security team. The Stripe application will prompt you to take three photos: the front of your ID, the back of your ID, and a selfie.
After a successful submission, your verification status will change to Processing.
Verification will take 1-2 business days to process, if further information is needed, our security team will reach out to you to request further information.
When verification is complete you will see the status change to Verified.
