Sharing is a great way to keep other people you work with up to date with what is happening with your properties. For now, the only user that can edit properties and tenant information is the one who owns the account that added the properties. Please note that we do not share bank account balances or any bank account transaction information between users.
Permission types - We have two different permission types for sharing:
This user type will only be able to view information about the properties you share, including any tenant payments associated with those properties, like rent payments or security deposits. They will not be able to make any changes to anything on the account - it is a strictly view-only role.
Like all shared users, they will not be able to view your bank accounts or your transactions. The only financial-related information they can see are payment requests like rent, security deposits, or one-time payments that are associated with the shared property. They will be able to track the statuses of the invoices and keep up to date with payments on the platform related to the shared portfolios.
Receive rent and deposits
This user type has all of the same permissions as the view-only role, but with one key difference. This user will be able to set up an Azibo bank account (which is free) to receive rent and security deposit payments for the properties that you share.
We recommend this role if you are a property manager or you partner with someone else who wants to directly collect payments, but wants you to manage the properties and tenants.
You will not be able to see the shared user’s bank accounts or transactions, and like all shared users, they will not be able to see yours.
